I believe that we are a relational creature. We survive with the support of each other, whether family or professional or friend. The important step that we all fall short on is knowing when or how to reach out. I believe by accepting our limitations and identifying our strengths and needs we can better understand and engage our support networks.
I work within the best of my abilities to meet each client from their personal lens of the world, and actively collaborate with the client and their support system to best develop their treatment goal while considering client’s cultural and experiences. With this in mind, I work with the client from an eclectic perspective utilizing an integrative form of psychotherapy. I have been trained in and experience utilizing therapies such as mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, relational living, motivational interviewing, gestalt, dialectical behavioral, acceptance and commitment, interpersonal.
