Joi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about two things: sports and helping others reach their fullest potential. Joi’s philosophy is that athletics is a form of therapy. She has successfully intertwined her two passions together by providing mental health services to adult athletes, coaches and referees. Joi completed her undergraduate program at Northwest Missouri State University. She majored in Psychology while also receiving a minor in Criminal Justice. Joi received her Masters in Social Work from Austin Peay State University. Joi has over I5 years of experience working in the mental health field. Joi understands the amount of dedication, training, time, and energy it takes when to be successful in sports but also understands that mental wellness is key to reaching objectives in life and the roles one chooses. The only expectation Joi has for clients is that they put an equal amount of effort into therapy as they do in sports.
